李子青教授,中科院自动化所模式识别国家重点实验室研究员、生物识别与安全技术研究中心主任,人脸识别专家,主持多个人脸识别科学研究和应用国家项目,是欧盟FP7“可信的生物识别”项目12个成员中唯一的非欧成员。在微软研发了人脸识别系统 EyeCU,比尔.盖茨接受CNN采访为之讲解。在中科院研发的“中科奥森”人脸识别系统在包括北京奥运、上海世博、边检通关等重大安全项目中实施并发挥作用。作为SAC/TC100/SC2标委会副主任委员,代表中国国家体撰写了中国第一个ISO/IEC JTC1/SC37生物识别国际标准工作草案获采纳,并在ISO生物识别年会全体会议上作了“生物特征识别在中国”的主题演讲。

(Dr. Stan Z. Li (IEEE Fellow) is the Director of Biometrics and Security Research, is a world leading expert in the field of face recognition and general biometrics. He has been leading several national research and engineering projects and is one of the 12 partner teams of the EU FP7 project “Trusted Biometrics under Spoofing Attacks (TABULA RASA)”. The EyeCU face recognition system he developed at Microsoft Research Asia was demonstrated by Bill Gates at a CNN interview.His AuthenMetric face recognition systems have been deployed in practical applications, including Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Shanghai 2010 World Expo and China border control.He is a co-chair of SAC/TC100/SC2 for biometrics standardization in China. He drafted an ISO/IEC JTC1/SC37 standard on behalf of the China National Body, and face delivered a plenary speech .“Biometrics in China” at SC37.)

着重讲人脸识别技术进展与应用,同时与其他生物识别技术做比较,列出各种模态的特点和优劣。(The talk will focus on the recent progress and applications on face recognition. In particular, a number of existing biological information identification techniques will be discussed, and their advantages and disadvantages will be listed.)
